BALL MILL

Ball Mill grinds material by rotating a Cylinder having Liners fixed onto it, with Steel Grinding Balls, causing the balls to fall back into the cylinder and hitting the material to be ground. The rotation is usually between 4 to 20 revolutions per minute depending upon the diameter of the mill. The larger the diameter the slower the rotation. If the peripheral speed of the mill is too great, it begins to act like a centrifuge and the balls do not fall back but stay on the perimeter of the mill. The point where the mill becomes a centrifuge is called “Critical Speed” and ball mills usually operate at 65% to 75% of critical speed.   

CWS supplied the complete Grinding and Packing Section to Aramit Cement, Bangladesh in 2014. Size of Mill is 3m/13mtr for a capacity of 50 TPH upto blaine of 3200. The equipments also included design and supply of MCC (Motor Control Centre) and PLC and the whole plant can be controlled from a PC through PLC

BUCKET ELEVATOR

Con Weigh Systems is supplying Bucket Elevators, both chain and belt type, depending upon their capacity and height requirement. Steel Chord Belt Type as well as single and double strand chain elevators are available.

 

Plate Link Chain elevators adopts flow charging and gravity induced discharging. SPIRAL STEEL SILO

The construction technique for Spiral Steel Silo being offered is the most advanced technology in the world. Its construction method is unique. While constructing, feed the coil sheet of 495 mm in width into the profiling station, making an confined encircling spiral, protruding strip of 30-40 mm in width around the silo body, thus, it plays the role of increasing the strength of the silo body. ROTO PACKER

CWS Roto Packers are the outcome of years of combined experience in design, engineering and manufacturing of Packing Plants equipments. Roto Packers are available having 4 to 16 spouts for capacity ranging from 1200 bags to 4800 bags/hr. Every Spout is equipped with individual filling system consisting of impeller box assembly, bag chair assembly, filling spout assembly, load cell assembly and electronic unit.

                      

The electric unit is a sturdy, user friendly, proven design unit and very reliable enabling to achieve good accuracy for this king of machines. In fact our electronic units have been installed at existing Roto Packers supplied by other companies, clearly proving the superiority with regards to functions and accuracy. Data for set weights, achieved weight, bags within tolerance etc. can be send via Rs.232 interface to PLC as well as printer for MIS reports.

NET WEIGHER

There are basically two types of filling system namely Gross Weighing system and Net Weighing System.,  Gross Weighing is the system where filling and weighing is done simultaneously whereas in Net Weighing is the system where the material is weighed first and then filled into bags.

Net Weighers are normally used for material which can fall with gravity and free falling for example Rice, Wheat , Flour and some other chemicals.  The material is weighed first in a small bin which is on Load Cell and then once the pre set weight is achieved , the inlet of the material to this bin is closed and the material is dumped into the bag, which could be either open mount or valve type of bag.  There is the possibility of one weigher on top or two weighers on top with single loading chute.  The capacity of Net Weigher ranges from 400 to 1200 bags depending upon the product as well as number of weighers on top.

BAG CLEANING

These days it has become imperative to clean the bag after it is discharge from the Packing Machine. It is also important to have a clean bag before printing is done which is being adopted by every plant today.

 

There are various ways of cleaning the bag, however, we have now adopted a design by which the bag is moving on a Rod Type Roller Conveyor which is enclosed and air is blown not only on the top of the bag but also from the bottom so that the bag is clean from both the sides. Generally most of the suppliers are cleaning the bag only from top though the maximum cement is stuck on the bottom side of the flat bag.

BELT CONVEYOR

CWS has supplied Belt Conveyors for bags to many plants. We have also supplied belt conveyor for clinker not only in India but also in UAE and Bangladesh for storage of clinker into shed using movable trolley.

SHIP LOADER

CWS has supplied a bag Ship Loader to load Cement bags @ 3600 bags per hour.  The Ship Loader has been working satisfactorily from the last 10 years.  This ship loader is moving on rails and can load ships upto capacity of 5000 ton.  Spiral chute ensures smooth loading.  The turntable installed at the end of the spiral chute helps in proper placement of bags.  CWS has also commissioned 2 stationary ship loaders at a plant in Bangladesh for loading of bags at the rate of 1800 bags/hr.

BULK LOADING SPOUT

CWS has supplied telescopic loading chute for cement. Loading chutes are available with or without cartridge filter mounted on the dust collector. Thickness and hardness of the cone is decided, depending upon the material to be loaded into open / closed vehicles. Stability of movement of cones is ensured by using 3 / 4 wire hoist system. A level indicator attached to the bottom sealing cone, ensures proper filling and avoids over-flow.

LUMPS CRUSHER

Lump Crusher is basically used for crushing lumps into powder.  It has been observed that due to moisture,  lumps get formed in cement silo and while extraction of the cement from the silo it blocks the gate for opening and also does not flow from the Airslide.

Lump crusher is normally installed just after the silo extraction gate and the material gets crushed into powder for easy flow to the Flow Control Gate and further to the Airslide.

We have supplied Lump Crusher to clients like Ultratech and Lafarge.  The size of the Lump Crusher depends upon the opening from the silo and also size of the gates for flow of material.  Accordingly the motor rating is also selected.

Bag Discharge Conveyor is normally placed just after the Roto Packer on which the bags gets discharged after filling and weighing.  The Bag Discharge Conveyor is generally kept slightly inclined since the discharge of bags from Roto Packer is at a low level and is brought to a level which is easily accessible for human being.  The belt on this Bag Discharge Conveyor is generally rough top or profile belt so that the  filled bags do not disturb the second bag.  Generally the Bag Discharge conveyor is covered and is connected to Dust Collector ducts so that the dust which generated during discharge of bag from Packing machine to this conveyor get sucked up for clean environment.
